The Walk to Emmaus was a time of deep, personal spiritual assessment for me. It was a time of bonding with many other men (and women) who were also trying to assess their own spiritual core. There was a lot of time at the table for sharing of beliefs, feelings and life experiences, which helped me to realize I had a lot in common with my fellow pilgrims and team members. Lots of laughter, sharing and joy were the highlight of the experience. There were inspiring talks and topics of discussion. All were encouraged to participate in discussions and sharing. The Walk helped me to see how God is present in my life and showed me ways to become closer to Him every day.
